Can I Fish from a Boat?

• No vessel fishing is permitted during the Goulburn River Competition. Along the river all fishing must be shore based angling.

• Boats are permitted during the Lake Eildon Competition.
There are a number of boating ramps in the area, you can find this information through the Goulburn Catchment Authority Boating Guide

If you are planning on taking a boat out, you will also be required to register your boat for the competition and have a valid boating license. For more information go to the Marine Safety website.
