What will I need to do before I can register?

To be able to register, you will need a current recreational fishing licence. This licence can be bought in advance (to come into effect on a future date) and can be valid for one year, 28 days or 2 days depending on how much you fish.

If you are planning on taking a boat out on Lake Eildon (shore based only on Goulburn River), you will also be required to register your boat for the competition and have a valid boating licence. For more information go to the Marine Safety website
