Where can I fish from?

There are a number of registered fishing points that you can fish from. They will be sign posted and clearly marked on your maps

• The Goulburn River competition will run from Seymour to Alexandra. Fishing outside of this area will disqualify you from competition.
• The Lake Eildon competition will take place throughout the lake, excluding the Eildon Pondage.

Where can I fish on the Goulburn River?

Fishing on the Goulburn River is between Seymour and Alexandra in Victoria. All River fishing must be shore based angling. No boats / vessels are permitted in the competition. Recommended Sites include;

2. Goulburn Park
3. Ghin Ghin Reserve, Killingworth
4. Killingworth River Reserve, Killingworth
5. Molesworth Recreation Reserve, Molesworth
6. Maroondah Hwy Bridge, Alexandra
7. Hedgers Farm, Alexandra (Please Note: this is private property and access is only available 8am - 6pm Gates will be closed outside of this time, please respect this, and the owners, for allowing us to access this stretch of river)

Where can I fish on Lake Eildon?

Fishing on Lake Eildon is specifically the Lake and does not include Eildon Pondage. You may also choose to fish by boat along the lake, but shore based angling is also available. Recommended Sites include;
