On Sunday 28 March, Marysville will play host to the largest Sustainable Living Expo run by the Murrindindi Climate Network, with over 30 exhibitors and presenters, featuring cutting edge environmental technologies and services.

“The Expo is the most exciting event we have run." said Rita Seethaler, Chair of the Murrindindi Climate Network. “It’s going to be a great day for visitors and locals alike, with hands on presentations and displays by local and regional exhibitors. For families we have the most wonderful dedicated kids program, including arts and crafts, story time, a giant game of Drains and Ladders and theatre performances featuring Vox Bandicoot”.

Rita added that the Expo is not just for those rebuilding, but for anyone who is interested in sustainable and affordable living practices and reducing their carbon footprint. “We would like to invite everyone to come and visit the Expo and at the same time see how Marysville and the Triangle area is progressing.. It’s going to be a great free day out”.

The Expo will take place next to Marysville Central, Darwin Street, Marysville form 9am to 4pm on Sunday 28 March, 2010. It will feature photovoltaics and solar hot water, bio-energy systems, domestic wastewater treatment and wastewater recycling solutions and other water saving technologies, waste management and recycling, sustainable cleaning products, green building design and sustainable building materials, eco tourism, carbon offset schemes, information on an array of grants and financial incentives and many more.
