Cancellation
19. Registrations are non-transferable.

20. Registrations are non-refundable, with the exception of cancellation or re-scheduling of the Big Fi$h event, at the discretion of the management committee. In the event of re-scheduling of Big Fi$h, and the registered person is unable to attend the new dates, a refund will be offered.

Disclaimer
21. The promoters, members of the event management committee and staff and volunteers acting on their behalf will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered including but not limited to direct or consequential loss, personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the event.

22. Upon registering for the competition, participants take full responsibility for their own safety while participating in the competition. It will always remains the full responsibility of the participant to insure safe fishing practices are carried out, that first aid basic needs are keep on their person at all times and that they call 000 in the case of an emergency. The promoters and organisers of the competition take no responsibility for personal safety on land or in the water while participating in the competition.
