The event will be conducted under Department of Primary Industry Permit SP331 issued by The Department of Primary Industries 22 April 2010.
The promoter will be the Yarra Ranges Regional Marketing acting for the Murrindindi Mitchell Bushfire Tourism Recovery Group.
Conditions of Entry
1. The event is open to any person who registers to participate and fishes within the current Victorian Recreational fishing regulations.
2. Only natural persons correctly entered and lodged in the competition by the due date shall be eligible to collect the prize.
Timing of the Event
3. The Event will be conducted in two 8 day periods:
a) The first period commencing on Saturday 02 October 2010 at 12.01 am and finishing on Saturday 09 October 2010 at 11.59 pm inclusive in respect the Goulburn River.
b) The second 8 day period will commence on Sunday 10 October at 12.01 am and finish on Sunday 17 October 2010 at 11.59 pm inclusive in respect to Lake Eildon.
4. Tagged fish will be tagged and released by Sportscover's designated Loss Adjuster. Sportscover reserves the right to decide where and when the fish are released within the designated areas.
5. A maximum 4 fish are to be tagged and released no later than 24 hours before the start of the competition. The fish which are to be tagged and released in Lake Eildon will be 2 Golden Perch ( Macquria Ambigua) and 2 Brown Trout ( Salmo Trutta) OR 2 Rainbow Trout Oncorhynchus mykiss are to be released into the Goulburn River.
In this respect to this the following will apply:
a). Between 12.01 am Saturday 02 October 2010 and 11.59 pm Saturday 09 October 2010 inclusive, two tagged fish with tag numbers 026 and 032 will be available to be angled in the Goulburn River. Tagged fish will be released downstream of the Maroondah Highway at Alexandra (Riversdale Bridge) and the Apex Boat ramp Seymour.
b) Following this, between 12.01 am Sunday 10 October 2010 and 11.59 pm Sunday 17 October 2010 inclusive, two tagged fish with tag numbers 015 and 041 will be released into Lake Eildon to be angled between these dates. Any tagged fish caught outside of the nominated dates will be ineligible to claim a prize.
