Mansfield Carp Comp
Sunday 10th October – Sunday 17th October 2010
As part of the BIGFI$H Event, the Mansfield Carp Clean up Competition offers daily prizes at each registration point for
heaviest individual carp and heaviest bag of carp with the overall winner of the competition having the opportunity to win a High Country Holiday package valued at $600. Another $600 holiday package will be awarded to the carp closest to a “secret weight” that is caught! You gotta be in it to win it! Entry forms will be available from 10 October from any of the Registration points - Gough’s Bay Caravan Park, Howqua Valley Caravan Park, Peppin Point Caravan Park and
Snowy Mountain Outdoor Centre in Mansfield.
BIG FI$H Art Trail
Saturday 9th October – Sunday 17th October 2010
Various Locations
An Art Trail that spans from Seymour to Eildon over the three weekends of the BIGFI$H competition. It incorporates the Old Courthouse Gallery exhibition in Seymour, the Flowing Colours exhibition in Yea and then the Art by the Lake Exhibition in Eidon.

- BIG FI$H Community Sausage Sizzle
- Weekends throughout Competition
- Various Site Locations
- On any given weekend, community groups who are maintaining our sites during the competition will be running sausage sizzles by the water to raise funds for various efforts. Support local groups by buys a sausage and being nice to them and the environment by using the bins provided!

- BIG FI$H Community Shuttle Bus
Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd & Saturday 9th October 2010 - Various Site Locations
- Our shuttle bus service is being provided by local community groups to service the town and assist with sites that don't have much parking. Shuttle buses will operate in Seymour, Yea and Alexandra on this day. The bus will take you from the Visitor Information Centre to the 2 closest fishing access points and even some local attractions if you're lucky! Support these local groups by giving a gold coin donation to ride the shuttle. Click here for more info

- We'll Cook It For You @ Rennies

- If you've caught a beauty we would love to cook your fish for you... just half a minute from the Breakaway River, just over the river from the Twin Rivers Caravan Park, Acheron. All you will need to do is give us a couple of hours notice once you have hooked your dinner and chef, Jim Fahey will get into action...casual gear not a problem ... just park the waders at the door!!
